Another significant step forward has been the establishment of dog-friendly beaches where you can bring your dog without encountering prohibitions and potential fines that can amount to €1,000. The rule of keeping them on a leash and having the necessary equipment to clean up after our dogs and leave the place clean always applies.
Here is a list of the main dog-friendly beaches in Sardinia, while it's generally allowed to bring your dog to any beach between 20:00 and 8:00.
